Sales:  J. Loucks at JCC

Calls for art: Spring Members Exhibit, registration open until April 15 or when filled.  Intake April 22, opening April 28, closes June 2

Exhibit updates:  

* Cross Keys Village  April 5- May 15   Bren Kindelsperger reported exhibit filled at January’s meeting.  

We will collect the art pieces at YAA at the March 28 until April 5 before 9:00 a.m. .  On April 5 at 9:00 a.m. Bren, Linda Williard and Phil Redman will take the pieces to Cross Keys and hang the exhibit.  At the end of the exhibit, the procedure will reverse. 

Sale procedure for Cross Keys

Apply the regular York Association tags in the bottom right. The tags on the paintings will have your contact phone number.

The contact at Cross Keys is Kathy Tomlinson and she is the coordinating person. Any interested buyer at Cross Keys is instructed to contact Kathy who will in turn contact you by email or phone.

If you get a call from the buyer, you should email Kathy (mcbethckv@gmail.com} and request a date and time that you and Kathy can be available to meet together with the buyer at Cross Keys. When you make that arrangement date, the artist will come to Cross Keys and also provide  a replacement piece to rehang. The artist and the buyer will complete the sales transaction according to the YVV Sales procedure. There is no commission involved.

* Martin Foot  :  next switchout will be in early April, signup sheet  was filled.

* Attorney Reilly  April 25, following the GG meeting

* Leg Up May  1 at 11 a.m.  through July, Carol  & John Loucks will handle take-in, Linda Williard or John Loucks will handle take-out in July   Sign up sheet distributed.

Facebook administrator:  Jan Ivers submits posts to the office, who are supposed to take care of seeing that they are posted.

Tags:    Coordinators should indicate whether tags should be bottom or right-side hang.  Tags should be highlighted for either see attendant or contact the artist.

Reminder: Gallery Group User Site: location – 2nd computer in office; YAA-GG; documents available (e.g. tags, exhibit templates guidelines, etc.)

Note:  Art work that is exhibited by the Gallery Group is to be original, not prints of the original artwork

When removing sold art, first contact the coordinator to make arrangements for a replacement.
