Artists will be asked to sign a waiver regarding liability for damage to art.  (We have always assumed that risk; this just formalizes it for JCC.)

JCC will also invite applications for special exhibits in the main lobby space, not connected with the Gallery Group exhibit.  Contact Rachel Singer at JCC to apply.  (Like the Sally Little Danyo space at YAA)

Linda Williard, williard.art@gmail.com,  blog administrator: please send her any potential post information/pictures regarding venues.  Blog can be used for any news of sales, or perhaps interesting galleries to visit, to organize a trip to a museum exhibit, calls for artists for future exhibits, etc. 

 

Facebook administrator:  Jan Ivers submits posts to the office, who are supposed to take care of seeing that they are posted.

 

Tags:    Coordinators should indicate whether tags should be bottom or right side hang.  Tags should be highlighted for either see attendant or contact the artist.

 

Reminder: Gallery Group User Site: location – 2^nd computer in office; YAA-GG; documents available (e.g. tags, exhibit templates guidelines, etc.)

Note:  Art work that is exhibited by the Gallery Group is to be original, not prints of the original artwork. 

When removing sold art, first contact the coordinator to make arrangements for a replacement.
