For our 2019 National Juried Exhibition, we have enlisted
the expertise of Ryan Grover
as our Juror. He is the Curator at
Biggs Museum of American Art in Dover, DE.
“Juror – Ryan Grover, Curator as Biggs Museum of American Art. Ryan Grover is an experienced Curator with a demonstrated history of working in the museum industry with strengths in American art, contemporary art and public programming.
Mr. Grover is skilled in
exhibitions, publications, writing for many audiences, fund raising, donor
development, board relations, capital projects and team development. He has a
Master's degree focused in Art History, Criticism and Conservation from
University of Wisconsin-Madison.
He is curator of an
important collection of American fine and decorative arts, with regional
strengths, made from 1700 to the present. He is in charge of all aspects of the
collection: curation, registration, exhibitions, installation and
interpretation.
His position also
encompasses key project responsibilities in grant writing, donor cultivation,
foundation cultivation, budget supervision, capital improvement/expansion,
state government relations, committee organization, long-range planning,
outreach, all forms of scholarly and popular education and content production
for on-line media and publishing.”
