Meeting Discussion:

We will be sad to see Carol give up the reigns of GG Facilitator, so much so that as of meeting time no one has volunteered to follow in her footsteps.  Carol, you are a hard act to follow!!

Ginny brought a potential new member to the meeting, we hope she enjoyed it and will be back!

Also, Alison Baker had a sale at JCC as well! Lots of JCC sales!!

JCC Successes:  Beth Fowler offered up that the success of the JCC venue could have to do with the amount of repeat traffic that flows down the hall.  Another member also said that even just the sheer volume of foot traffic in JCC helps make it so successful.

A few members asked what time the JCC switch out will be?  Perhaps Bren can write those who have signed up.

Atty. Reilly Venue:  Still searching for someone to take over as coordinator, Phyllis will be finishing up in December.  Phyllis says that it is a very easy venue, the attorney hangs the work himself, so it is a matter of setting up dates, and being on-site for drop-off and collection days.

Also, for future exhibit dates, please send in information ahead of venue so Phyllis may create the list of artwork.

Talus:  Switch-outs will occur every 2 months in an effort to keep venue fresh.

Watchmakers Daughter:  Please join the group of members who are exhibiting in November at the first Friday to cheer them on, and there will be refreshments! The issue of where artists are to park was discussed, perhaps Carol when she returns will have this answer.

Possible new venue:  Reed’s Jewelers in York Galleria. May be a one-day event.  Contact is Brittany Blades bblades@reeds.com :  volunteer to contact her?

So far, no volunteers to contact Brittany Blades as of meeting time.
